Can you trust the health advice you get from public health organizations? Recent investigations reveal that you cannot.

Read on and I’ll tell you about this shocking news about how big business has corrupted the advice you receive. And I’ll tell you what you can do to protect yourself.

Centers For Disease Control Exposed

In a recent article written by the editor of the prestigious British Medical Journal, the American Centers for Disease Control (CDC) was exposed. The CDC was first established in 1946, and has long been accepted as an unbiased authority when it comes to health advice. In fact, some laws are actually based upon CDC policies.

So it may come as a shock to some to find out that the CDC has been taking corporate money since 1983. How much money? Tens of millions of dollars yearly from drug companies.

The CDC has been lying to the public. The CDC makes the following claim: “CDC, our planners, and our content experts wish to disclose they have no financial interests or other relationships with the manufacturers of commercial products… CDC does not accept commercial support.”

When confronted with this shocking discrepancy, the head of the CDC said, “When possible conflicts of interests arise, we take a hard, close look to ensure that proper policies and guidelines are followed before accepting outside donations.”

In other words, he freely admits that the CDC receives and has long received large financial contributions from drug companies all the while saying it wasn’t.

And the director wants us to believe that in spite of the lie, the CDC always takes the moral high ground…even with tens of millions of dollars are at stake.

Ethical Accusations Paint CDC Not So Rosy

The U.S. Inspector General’s office investigated the CDC in 2009 for ethical concerns. The office concluded that the CDC had serious ethical problems. A whopping 97 of the disclosure forms filed by the CDC were incomplete. The disclosure forms are what the CDC is supposed to submit to disclose conflicts of interest.

Obviously the CDC thinks it has something to hide.

According to the article in the British Medical Journal, the CDC has fallen under scrutiny by leading scientists. The reason? The scientists are concerned about the science being promoted by the CDC. In other words, things aren’t right at the CDC.

How The CDC’s Corruption Affects You

The CDC’s recommendations are considered by many to be the “gold standard” when it comes to healthcare. So chances are your doctors take their cues from the CDC. And most public health “common knowledge” is whatever the CDC advocates.

But the CDC’s recommendations may be serving industry and not you.

Here’s an example. A number of years ago the CDC formed a “coalition” to investigate its official policies regarding hepatitis C. Since that time drug companies and medical industry companies have donated more than $26 million to the CDC’s hepatitis coalition.

Not surprisingly, the CDC has now recommended increased screening and increased use of drugs for hepatitis C. Could it be coincidence? It could be. But it could also be $26 million talking.

Here’s another example. The drug Tamiflu has never been proven to reduce deaths from influenza. In fact, the FDA specifically warned the drug company that makes it that it could not make any such claims.

But after receiving millions of dollars from the drug manufacturer, the CDC now claims that “taking Tamiflu might save your life”. Could it be a coincidence? Or might it be money talking.

According to an increasing number of scientists and researchers, it’s the money talking.

Find Unbiased Sources For Information To Protect Yourself

Clearly, the CDC is no longer an unbiased source of information. It may not have been for at least 30 years!

But the CDC isn’t alone. Research shows that an incredible 94 percent of doctors receive financial incentives from the drug industry.

And perhaps worse yet is that according to the former editor of the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine, fully half of all medical research is nothing more than propaganda for the drug companies.

So how can you know who and what to trust? The sensible thing to do is to turn to trusted, independent researchers – people who are unbiased by the millions and billions of dollars changing hands between drug companies and influential organizations and policy-makers.

I am proud to be one such independent source of reliable information for you. It’s hard work to dig through all the details and follow the money trails to find out what is good information and what is bad. But I do it, and I report it to you so that you can trust that you are doing the right things to protect your health.

Meanwhile, if you read or hear health advice from other sources, think critically.

And rather than believing in the next “miracle drug” like the drug companies want you to, focus on the simple basics of health – like sunlight, sleep, walking, loving relationships, and nourishing food. That will keep your health strong for life.
