HEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) is the most abundant hormone in the body. It is produced by the brain, gonads, and adrenal glands. The body converts DHEA to testosterone and estrogen.

As you can probably guess, production of DHEA decreases as we age. As you reach 80 years of age, your DHEA level falls by 80%.

During this process your libido suffers.

DHEA fights obesity, stress, aging, cancer, difficulties with erection, infertility, and many other conditions and diseases.

A study done ten years ago found that men with low DHEA had more trouble with erections than those with higher DHEA.

Another study found that DHEA supplementation led to ASTONISHING improvement in maintaining and achieving erections.

How does DHEA manage to aid erectile function?

It is converted to testosterone, so the more
DHEA in your system, the more testosterone, too.

Just as testosterone has many benefits, so does DHEA!

DHEA is known to:

•  Increase energy and motivation

•  Burn fat (older men taking DHEA reduced their abdominal fat, probably due to DHEA’s ability to block the enzyme responsible for fat tissue retention)

•  Prevent cancer (by blocking the enzyme glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) that promotes cancer cell growth)

•  Reduce stress and elevate mood (as you get older you are more prone to stress because your DHEA level declines)

•  Increase immunity

Some older men reported that they got their morning erections back after taking a DHEA supplement. Since DHEA promotes feelings of well-being, it also promotes a satisfying sex life.

If you have unexplained weight gain, have your DHEA level tested, because low DHEA can cause weight gain.
